@codl It's getting better, they're slowly rolling out the fibre network (or.. almost fibre network, in my case)

I've got Fibre to the Curb (FTTC), so I've got about 10 metres of copper then fibre from there!

@Byakkock I've only had it for about a month, but it's been great so far β€” it's finally feasible to run a home server, and we can handle multiple network streams at once!

Coming from ADSL2+ has been a huge jump!

@hugo if you don't mind me asking, how much did the package cost for this network?

@Byakkock It's $100 a month for the fastest plan, which is 100 down, 40 up.

@Byakkock That's in AUD, and is comparable cost across most of the providers

@mig5 "Let me just pull that docker image" is now actually feasible
